Ironwood Pharmaceuticals reported second quarter 2026 results, posting total revenue of $113 million and GAAP net income of $51 million, or $0.31 per share. U.S. LINZESS net sales reached $282 million, driven by mid-single digit prescription demand growth and improved net pricing. The company raised its full-year 2026 financial guidance, increasing LINZESS U.S. net sales expectations to $1.15–$1.20 billion, total revenue to $460–$485 million, and adjusted EBITDA to greater than $310 million. Ironwood repaid the full $200 million principal amount of its convertible senior notes using cash on hand. Additionally, the company initiated the confirmatory Phase 3 STARS-2 trial for apraglutide in short bowel syndrome with intestinal failure and appointed Dr. Jeffrey Silber as chief medical officer.
