Kennametal Inc. announced that Chairman William M. Lambert will retire from the Board effective October 27, 2026, following the annual shareholder meeting. The Board appointed Joseph Alvarado as the incoming Chairman, effective October 28, 2026. Lambert has served on the Board since March 2016 and as Chairman since October 2023. Alvarado, a director since 2018 and chair of the Nominating/Corporate Governance Committee, is the retired Chairman, President and CEO of Commercial Metals Company.
