Keros Therapeutics announced a new $5 million stock repurchase program approved by its Board of Directors on September 8, 2026. This authorization follows the receipt of a $20 million development milestone payment from Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc. under their license agreement for elritercept, triggered by the dosing of the first patient in the ELRiSE MDS clinical trial. The company reported cash and cash equivalents of $257.6 million as of June 30, 2026, and anticipates sufficient liquidity to fund operations through the second half of 2028 after accounting for the milestone and repurchase program. Keros Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapeutics for disorders linked to dysfunctional signaling of the TGF-ß family of proteins.
