Kymera Therapeutics, Inc. announced the retirement of Chief Medical Officer Jared Gollob, M.D., effective July 27, 2026, and the appointment of Terence Rooney, M.D., as the new Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Rooney, formerly a senior vice president at Johnson & Johnson, immunology leader, and experience with several successful marketing applications, is succeeding Dr. Gollob thanks to his extensive experience in immunology drug development. Dr. Gollob will remain as an advisor to the company as an advisor until December 31, 2026.
