Lion Copper and Gold Corp. announced that Douglas Stiles has transitioned from his role as Vice President of Sustainability and Environment to accept the position of President at Silver Bow Mining Corp. His resignation is effective August 31, 2026, following voluntary notice given on July 30, 2026. The departure was not due to disagreements regarding operations or policies. Mr. Stiles will remain with the company in a limited advisory capacity focusing on strategic permitting and environmental matters. CEO John Banning confirmed that the external permitting team assembled under Stiles' direction remains engaged and on schedule for the Yerington Copper Project. Lion Copper and Gold Corp. operates in the mining industry, specifically developing copper projects.
