Intuitive Machines completed its acquisition of Goonhilly Earth Station Limited and COMSAT LLC on August 3, 2026. The UK acquisition consideration was £37.0 million, split equally between cash and stock, with the equity portion consisting of 960,649 shares of Class A common stock. Additionally, the company acquired all membership interests of COMSAT for a base cash purchase price of $10 million, subject to working capital and debt adjustments. The transaction expands Intuitive Machines’ ground station network and deep space communications capabilities, supporting upcoming IM-3 and Altus-1 missions. Intuitive Machines operates in the space technology industry, building spacecraft and providing infrastructure services for commercial, civil, and national security customers.
