Veradermics reports positive Phase 3 Study '304' data for VDPHL01 in male pattern hair loss
MANEVeradermics, Inc
Veradermics announced positive topline results from Part A of its registration-directed Phase 3 clinical trial (Study ‘304’) evaluating VDPHL01, an extended-release oral minoxidil formulation, in males with mild-to-moderate pattern hair loss. The study enrolled 536 patients and met all primary and secondary endpoints with high statistical significance. At Month 6, VDPHL01 demonstrated superior hair growth compared to placebo, achieving increases in non-vellus Target Area Hair Count of 28.6 hairs/cm² for once-daily dosing and 36.4 hairs/cm² for twice-daily dosing (p<0.0001). Patient-reported outcomes showed that 55.7% (once-daily) and 68.7% (twice-daily) of participants reported 'improved' or 'much improved' hair coverage versus 15.0% for placebo. The treatment was generally well-tolerated with no treatment-related serious adverse events or cardiac safety signals. Veradermics is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative therapeutics for pattern hair loss.
