Microvast Holdings, Inc. appointed Derek Liu as its new Chief Accounting Officer, effective August 7, 2026. Mr. Liu brings extensive financial leadership experience, having served as Chief Financial Officer at Silvercorp Metals Inc. from 2015 to 2025 and previously as Controller there from 2006 to 2010. He also held the CFO position at Canickel Mining Limited from 2011 to 2014. His compensation package includes an annual base salary of $350,000 and a target bonus opportunity equal to 50% of his base salary. The company operates in the battery energy storage industry.
