Douglas Kling notified NewAmsterdam Pharma Company N.V. of his resignation as Chief Operating Officer, effective August 14, 2026, to become CEO of another clinical-stage biotech firm. The company expects to enter into a separation agreement and an advisor agreement with Mr. Kling to provide transition and advisory services regarding the PREVAIL clinical trial of obicetrapib and other clinical programs.
