Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. appointed Lapo Pistelli to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The appointment was triggered by Eni S.p.A. exercising a board nomination right acquired as a strategic shareholder during the company's earlier financing package for the Matawinie Mine project. Mr. Pistelli brings experience in international law, geopolitics, and energy markets, having previously served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy and holding senior roles at Eni. This move aims to strengthen the board's expertise in navigating complex geopolitical environments and fostering strategic partnerships as NMG advances toward a Final Investment Decision for its Bécancour Battery Material Plant. Nouveau Monde Graphite is an integrated company developing responsible mining and advanced processing operations to supply carbon-neutral advanced graphite materials.
