Net Power extends EMPower EPC agreement deadline to March 2027, defers $3.5M termination payment

Net Power's subsidiary extended the deadline for delivering a full notice to proceed and making a mobilization payment under its EMPower USA construction contract from October 15, 2026, to March 31, 2027. The extension defers a $3.5 million termination fee, which becomes payable if the company fails to execute required amendments or deliver notice by November 15, 2026, or ultimately misses the March 2027 deadline. Net Power Inc. develops and licenses supercritical CO2 power cycle technology for energy generation.
