Obsidian Energy updated its 2026 full-year production guidance to 28,500–29,500 boe/d, a reduction from the previous range of 29,000–31,000 boe/d. The downward revision reflects weather-related development delays and third-party compressor downtime at recently acquired Belly River assets, which has since been restored to approximately 2,400 boe/d. Capital expenditures remain unchanged at $300–$325 million, while updated commodity price assumptions include a higher WTI benchmark of US$80/bbl and revised FX rates. The company projects an Adjusted Funds Flow from Operations (AFFO) per share of CAD 4.59 and maintains its target for over 15% year-over-year production growth in 2027. Obsidian Energy is a Canadian oil and gas producer focused on heavy and light oil development in Alberta.
