Odyssey Therapeutics announced completed Phase 2a induction data for OD-001, an oral RIPK2 scaffolding inhibitor, in patients with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis. The trial met its primary endpoint of change from baseline in modified Mayo score at Week 12 (mean reduction of 2.4 points; p<0.001). In the pooled 20 mg twice-daily group, clinical remission was 27% and symptomatic remission was 49%. The drug demonstrated a favorable safety profile with no serious adverse events or treatment-related discontinuations. Odyssey plans to advance OD-001 into Phase 2b monotherapy and Phase 2a combination trials, with top-line results expected in the second half of 2027.
