ORIC presents Phase 1b data showing 84% systemic ORR for enozertinib, plans Phase 3 trial in 1H 2027

ORIC Pharmaceuticals presented updated Phase 1b data for its investigational drug enozertinib (ORIC-114) at the ESMO Congress 2026. In a cohort of 26 patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring EGFR atypical mutations, including those with untreated brain metastases, enozertinib demonstrated an 84% confirmed systemic objective response rate by investigator assessment and a 70% confirmed intracranial response rate. The drug was well-tolerated with no treatment-related discontinuations. Based on these results and End-of-Phase 1 FDA interactions, the company plans to initiate Redwood-1, a global Phase 3 registrational trial in first-line EGFR atypical NSCLC, in the first half of 2027.
