PowerBank Announces First 2 MW Modular Data Center in Ontario with Potential Annual Lease Revenue of Approximately C$2 Million

PowerBank Corporation announced that its joint development partner has executed the first lease for a 2 MW modular data center in Ontario. The project is designed to accommodate approximately 500 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs and establishes the first AI infrastructure site under a strategic partnership, with several more planned across the province. If permitted, financed, constructed, and operational by fiscal year 2028, the facility could generate approximately C$2 million in annual lease revenue from an AI cloud tenant. The estimated capital cost is C$10 million, shared between PowerBank and its partner. This initiative leverages existing energy infrastructure to support distributed AI inference workloads.
