Progressive names Lori Niederst Chief Personal Lines Officer as Pat Callahan to retire

The Progressive Corporation announced that Pat Callahan will retire from his role as Personal Lines President in January 2027 after nearly 24 years. Lori Niederst, currently CRM President, will assume a newly created role of Chief Personal Lines Officer. Heather Day will move into the CRM President role in July to support the transition. Progressive is a leading provider of personal and commercial auto, motorcycle, boat, and homeowners insurance.
