POET Technologies appoints Giovanni Pacelli as CFO, succeeding Thomas Mika

POET Technologies Inc. appointed Giovanni M. Pacelli as Chief Financial Officer effective November 2, 2026. Pacelli succeeds Thomas Mika, who served in the role for ten years and will remain through December 2 to support the transition. Pacelli joins from Silicon Labs, bringing three decades of financial leadership including experience at Freescale Semiconductor and NXP. In connection with his appointment, he received a grant of 384,615 restricted share units vesting over three years. The company also announced it will begin hosting quarterly earnings conference calls starting with fourth-quarter 2026 results. POET Technologies designs and develops high-speed optical engines and photonic integration solutions for the artificial intelligence systems market and hyperscale data centers.
