Pampa Energía S.A. has approved the final investment decision for its Fértil Pampa S.A.U. subsidiary's fertilizer project, which requires an investment of approximately US$2.7 billion. The project involves the construction, an EPC contract on a lump-sum turnkey basis with contractors Tecnimont SPA and SACDE S.A. to produce granulated urea and ammonia with a capacity of 6,000 tons per day. The company has also approved granting parent company guarantees to the Contractors under the EPC Contract to secure performance of payment obligations. Pampa Energía S.A. operates in the energy and agro-industry integration segments of Argentina.
