Profound Medical Corp. appointed Richard R. Fabian as President, effective September 1, 2026, succeeding Mathieu Burtnyk, who transitioned to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Fabian brings over 29 years of experience in healthcare executive management, most recently serving as CEO of FUJIFILM Sonosite and holding leadership roles at Philips Healthcare. His compensation package includes an annualized base salary of $550,000, a discretionary bonus potential of up to 100% of base salary, a monthly car allowance of $1,000, and a residence lease in Toronto for approximately half his time. He received 200,000 restricted share units vesting over three years and options for 475,000 common shares vesting over four years.
