ProQR appoints Chris Hart as Chief Data and AI Officer and Thomas Wolf as Strategic AI Advisor to scale Axiomer platform

ProQR Therapeutics N.V. announced the appointment of Chris Hart as Chief Data and AI Officer and Thomas Wolf to its Board of Directors as a Strategic AI Advisor on September 23, 2026. Dr. Hart joins from Eli Lilly, where he served as Vice President of Data Science and AI/ML, bringing over two decades of experience in computational biology and oligonucleotide drug development. Dr. Wolf is the co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Hugging Face, an open-source AI platform recently acquired by Nvidia for $12.9 billion. These appointments support ProQR's strategy to scale artificial intelligence across its Axiomer RNA editing platform. The company highlighted AX-0811, the first program identified through this AI-enabled discovery process, which is expected to provide target engagement data in early January 2027. ProQR anticipates up to five clinical data readouts over the next 12 months across four development programs.
