Prudential plc has applied to the London Stock Exchange to admit 10,916 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each to trading on its main market. The admission is expected to take place on October 22, 2026. These shares are being issued as part of a scrip dividend alternative for the company's 2026 first interim dividend. Specifically, 4,148 of these shares will be allocated through a share dealing facility designed to allow United Kingdom shareholders who cannot provide a Hong Kong address or brokerage account details to participate in the dividend option. The new shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares. Prudential provides life and health insurance and asset management services across Greater China, ASEAN, India, and Africa.
