Reading International, Inc. announced that its subsidiary Sutton Hill Properties entered into a contract to sell its cinema property at 1001–1007 Third Avenue in New York for $41 million. A down payment of $4.1 million has been placed in escrow, with the remaining balance due at closing on or about October 30, 2026. The transaction is not subject to further due diligence or financing contingencies and will satisfy an existing mortgage encumbrance of approximately $19 million. Reading International operates as a motion picture exhibition company.
