Rigel completes acquisition of VEPPANU rights from Arvinas and Pfizer for $70M upfront

Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. completed the acquisition of exclusive, global rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize VEPPANU™ (vepdegestrant) and related products worldwide through a License Agreement with Arvinas, Inc., Arvinas Operations, Inc., Arvinas Estrogen Receptor, Inc., and Pfizer Inc. The transaction, which involved a one-time upfront payment of $70.0 million, became effective following the satisfaction of all closing conditions and the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act waiting period termination.
