Rentokil CFO Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson to retire Jan 31, 2027; Sarah Sergeant named interim

Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson has informed the Board of his intention to retire from his full-time role as Chief Financial Officer and step down from the Board with effect from January 31, 2027, citing family health reasons. He will remain with the company in a senior advisory capacity to ensure an orderly succession. The Board has initiated a formal search for a permanent successor. Should one not be appointed by February 1, 2027, Sarah Sergeant, currently Group Financial Controller, will assume the role of Interim CFO.
