RTX Corporation announced that Shane Eddy will step down as president of Pratt & Whitney and retire from the company effective January 1, 2027. Jill Albertelli, currently president of Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines business, has been appointed to succeed Mr. Eddy in the same role, also effective January 1, 2027. Mr. Eddy will remain with the company through March 2027 as a special advisor to support the transition. This leadership change affects one of RTX's key operating segments.
