Seer CFO David Horn resigns; CEO Omid Farokhzad takes on President role

On September 14, 2026, David Horn resigned as President, CFO, and Treasurer of Seer, Inc., effective October 1, 2026, to pursue other interests. The resignation was not due to disagreements with the company regarding operations. In connection with this departure, the Board appointed Omid Farokhzad, M.D., currently CEO and Chair, as President on an additional basis, effective October 1, 2026. Charles Endweiss, Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis since January 2021, was appointed Treasurer, Principal Financial Officer, and Principal Accounting Officer, also effective October 1, 2026. Mr. Endweiss previously served as Head of Business Operations at Carbon. The company extended the post-termination exercise period for Mr. Horn's vested options to one year following his last day of service, contingent upon executing a separation agreement.
