Synaptics appoints Kermit Nolan as Principal Accounting Officer after VP Corporate Controller Esther Song resigns

Synaptics announced that Esther Song resigned from her roles as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, effective October 28, 2026. The company appointed current Vice President of Finance Kermit Nolan to serve as the new Principal Accounting Officer starting on the same date. Mr. Nolan will not receive additional compensation for this role. The resignation was not due to any disagreements with management regarding operations or accounting policies. Synaptics develops and licenses semiconductor products, including touch controllers and audio codecs, primarily for mobile devices and other consumer electronics.
