AT&T Inc. completed the acquisition of wireless spectrum licenses from EchoStar Corporation for approximately $23 billion. The transaction adds roughly 50 MHz of nationwide spectrum, comprising 30 MHz in the 3.45 GHz mid-band and 20 MHz in the 600 MHz low-band, to enhance 5G capacity and network speeds. To finance the purchase price, AT&T drew $11.5 billion on its two-year term loan facility and $3.0 billion on its 364-day term loan facility under its Delayed Draw Term Loan Credit Agreement, with the remaining balance paid in cash. AT&T reiterates its financial outlook and capital allocation plan from its second-quarter 2026 earnings release.
