Tiziana Life Sciences signs MOU to collaborate with King Abdullah International Medical Research Center on MS trial for intranasal foralumab

On September 17, 2026, Tiziana Life Sciences announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center and the Foundation for Neurologic Diseases. The parties intend to collaborate on a clinical trial evaluating a combination of Tiziana’s intranasal foralumab and existing anti-CD20 therapy in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis who respond poorly to anti-CD20 monotherapy. This initiative targets untreated neuroinflammation, leveraging prior findings that intranasal foralumab reduces such inflammation. The agreement was signed by CEO Ivor Elrifi at the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit on September 16, 2026. Tiziana Life Sciences is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing immunomodulation therapies using alternative drug delivery technologies.
