TRX Gold reported record preliminary gold production for Q4 and fiscal year 2026, delivering 8,173 ounces in the quarter (up 28% year-over-year) and 29,650 ounces annually (up 57%), achieving the top end of its 25,000–30,000 ounce guidance. The company advanced its processing plant expansion by finalizing contracts for a new 3,500 tonnes per day SAG/Ball mill circuit, expected to be completed within 12–18 months, which will operate alongside the upgraded 2,000 tpd facility to support future production exceeding 62,000 ounces annually. Additionally, TRX Gold was added to the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index following the September 11, 2026 rebalance announcement, with implementation effective September 18, 2026.
