Adjusted earnings per share were $4.69. The company raised its full-year 2026 adjusted net earnings outlook to at least $20.50 per share, up from previous expectations. UnitedHealthcare served 48.3 million consumers with revenues of $86.3 billion and operating earnings of $2.8 billion, while Optum generated $66.9 billion in revenue and $3.7 billion in operating earnings. The medical care ratio improved to 88.4%, aided by $610 million of net favorable prior period reserve development.
