Trian sells over 3.5M Unilever shares worth ~$194M as fund expires

Trian Fund Management, L.P., closely associated with director Nelson Peltz, sold approximately 3.6 million Unilever PLC ordinary shares and settled related derivative positions in late October 2026 following the expiration of a fund. The transactions included open market sales totaling roughly $174 million at weighted average prices between £47.67 and £48.73, alongside the disposition of 335,519 shares to close short swap positions on the New York Stock Exchange. Trian also distributed 100,000 shares in specie outside a trading venue. Unilever PLC is a multinational consumer goods company that manufactures and sells food, beverages, cleaning agents, and personal care products.
