Utz Brands, Inc. entered into a definitive merger agreement on July 20, 2026, to be acquired by Idaho USA, Inc. and its subsidiary, making the company an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Intersnack Group GmbH & Co. KG. Under the terms, outstanding Class A Common Stock will be converted into the right to receive $14.25 per share in cash. The transaction includes a $44 million payment to continuing stockholders to terminate the existing Tax Receivable Agreement. The merger is subject to stockholder approval, regulatory clearances, and other customary closing conditions. Utz Brands, Inc. is a snack food manufacturer.
