Universal Corp appoints Gregory R. Friedman as independent director

The Board of Directors of Universal Corporation increased its size to ten members and appointed Gregory R. Friedman as an independent director, effective November 4, 2026. Mr. Friedman will serve on the Audit Committee, the Nominating, Governance and Risk Committee, and the Finance and Pension Investment Committee. He brings over thirty years of financial and operational leadership experience, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of Mura Technology and previously holding senior roles at Corteva and DuPont. Universal Corporation is a global agricultural company supplying products and innovative solutions to customers across more than 30 countries.
