Valion Bio reports positive safety data for Entolimod in radiation study

Valion Bio announced final preclinical safety results from a U.S. government-funded study of its lead drug candidate, Entolimod, conducted by the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute. The study found no evidence of treatment-related toxicity following a single dose in mice, with stable body weights and normal hematologic profiles. These findings support advancing to a fully funded therapeutic efficacy study focused on survival and gastrointestinal recovery from acute radiation syndrome.
