VinFast reports 82,580 EV deliveries in Q3 2026; founder contributes $436.4M to subsidiary

VinFast Auto Ltd. delivered 82,580 electric vehicles globally in the third quarter of 2026, marking a 116% increase year-over-year. The VF 3 and Limo Green were the top sellers with 21,744 and 19,100 units respectively. Additionally, the company delivered 284,831 e-scooters and e-bikes, up 137% from the prior year. Founder Pham Nhat Vuong contributed approximately US$436.4 million in capital to subsidiary VinFast Vietnam Joint Stock Company through dividend preference shares to support strategic growth. The company will release its third-quarter financial results on December 2, 2026. VinFast is a Vietnamese manufacturer of electric vehicles and two-wheelers.
