On September 14, 2026, Valens Semiconductor entered into a license agreement with onsemi granting non-exclusive rights to use its MIPI A-PHY technology in next-generation integrated image sensors. The collaboration targets high-volume 3-megapixel automotive camera applications, aiming to provide OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers with a cost-optimized path to adoption of the standard. Valens will receive royalty payments for products incorporating this connectivity solution. This partnership expands the MIPI A-PHY ecosystem by combining Valens' connectivity expertise with onsemi's imaging capabilities. Valens Semiconductor Ltd. operates in the semiconductor industry, designing high-performance connectivity chipsets for automotive and consumer electronics.
