Valley National Bancorp reported third-quarter 2026 net income of $206.3 million, or $0.36 per diluted common share, up from $170.9 million, or $0.29 per diluted share, in the second quarter and $163.4 million, or $0.28 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2025. Adjusted net income was also $206.4 million, or $0.36 per diluted share. Net interest margin expanded to 3.28 percent on a tax-equivalent basis, while total deposits grew $1.1 billion to $55.2 billion and loans increased $722.7 million to $53.2 billion. The company also announced it repurchased 2.5 million shares of common stock at an average price of $13.86 during the quarter. Valley National Bancorp is a regional financial holding company that operates Valley National Bank, providing consumer, commercial, and wealth management services.
