Vistagen Therapeutics announced topline results from an exploratory Phase 2 repeat dose study of fasedienol nasal spray for social anxiety disorder on August 6, 2026. The three-arm trial (N=61) met safety objectives and showed numerical separation from placebo in the primary endpoint, with nominally statistically significant improvements in patients with very severe social anxiety (LSAS ≥95). Responder rates were directionally higher for fasedienol across secondary endpoints. These findings support upcoming discussions with the FDA regarding a potential registrational pathway for fasedienol.
