Vaxart appoints retired Vice Admiral Raquel C. Bono to Board under July stockholder agreement

Vaxart appointed Dr. Raquel C. Bono, a retired U.S. Navy Vice Admiral and board-certified surgeon, to its Board of Directors effective October 16, 2026. The appointment follows a cooperation agreement entered into with a group of stockholders in July 2026. Dr. Bono will serve as Chair of the Stockholder Engagement Committee and on the Nominating and Governance and Clinical and Regulatory Affairs Committees. She brings extensive experience leading healthcare enterprises, including serving as Director of the Defense Health Agency and currently sitting on the board of Humana Inc. Vaxart is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing oral recombinant vaccines.
