CEO Kim receives $567K relocation benefit; severance increased to 12 months base salary

WEBTOON Entertainment approved a one-time cash relocation benefit of $567,090 for CEO Junkoo Kim and amended his employment agreement. The new terms increase severance upon termination without cause from six to twelve months of base salary plus target incentive, and double post-change-in-control severance to twenty-four months with full equity vesting acceleration. Additionally, the company plans to launch a dedicated Marvel Comics app on November 16, offering over 35,000 digital comics via subscription tiers priced at $9.99 and $12.49 per month. WEBTOON Entertainment operates global digital storytelling platforms including webcomics and webnovels.
