Worksport Ltd. has signed a non-binding term sheet to acquire a growing business with a patented, U.S.-manufactured truck bed accessory and accompanying intellectual property portfolio. This proposed transaction represents the company's first acquisition and is intended to support its strategic plan to expand beyond tonneau covers by leveraging its existing U.S. manufacturing infrastructure, distribution network, and customer base of over 50,000 targeted consumers. Completion of the deal remains subject to due diligence, negotiation of definitive agreements, and satisfaction of closing conditions, with no assurance that the acquisition will be finalized. Worksport Ltd. designs, develops, manufactures, and owns intellectual property on tonneau covers, solar integrations, portable power systems, and clean heating solutions for light trucks and consumer markets.
