World Acceptance Corporation appointed John L. Calmes Jr., age 46, as President and Chief Executive Officer effective September 21, 2026. Mr. Calmes previously served as the Company's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Strategy Officer since October 2018. He joins from Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. His new employment agreement includes a $600,000 base salary, a guaranteed $300,000 bonus for fiscal 2027, and a $500,000 long-term equity incentive grant. Scott McIntyre succeeds Mr. Calmes as Principal Financial Officer.
