Police subject Yiren Digital CEO Ning Tang to criminal measures; Na Mei appointed acting CEO

Yiren Digital announced that its Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ning Tang, is subject to criminal compulsory measures following a police notice regarding an investigation involving affiliates of the company's controlling shareholder. The company stated it has not received official details on the nature or timeline of the proceedings but warned that the situation could impair Mr. Tang’s duties and adversely affect its reputation and operations. To ensure continuity, the Board appointed Ms. Na Mei as Acting Chief Executive Officer effective October 13, 2026. Ms. Mei previously served as the company's CFO from September 2020 to August 2024 and brings extensive experience in financial management and auditing. Yiren Digital operates in the fintech sector, specializing in artificial intelligence innovation and digital financial services across China and global markets.
