Zentek Ltd. filed a technical report for the Preliminary Economic Assessment of its Albany Graphite Project in Northern Ontario, supporting an August announcement with updated tabulation. The assessment outlines a 30-year production period yielding 30,000 tonnes per year of ultra-high-purity graphite via an acid-free thermal purification process. Key economic metrics include an after-tax net present value of US$3.85 billion at a 5% discount rate and an after-tax internal rate of return of 27.4%. Initial capital costs are estimated at US$817 million, with a discounted payback period of 4.4 years. Micon International Limited recommends advancing the project to a Pre-Feasibility Study.
