AECOM reported a third-quarter fiscal 2026 net loss of $84 million, or $0.65 diluted EPS, driven by a $337 million pre-tax charge related to cost overruns on a Construction Management project awarded in 2019. Revenue declined 14% year-over-year to $3.59 billion, while Net Service Revenue remained flat. Excluding the project impact, adjusted EBITDA was $329 million and adjusted EPS was $1.49. Total backlog reached a record $27.8 billion, up 13%, supported by a 1.6 book-to-burn ratio. The company updated its full-year fiscal 2026 guidance, lowering free cash flow expectations to approximately $300 million and adjusting EPS estimates to between $3.95 and $4.15 due to the project charge and delayed starts in Construction Management. AECOM operates as a global infrastructure professional services firm providing advisory, planning, design, engineering, and construction management solutions.
