Agnico Eagle Mines Limited announced on August 24, 2026, that it entered into a subscription agreement with Radisson Mining Resources Inc. to acquire 53,420,000 units in a non-brokered private placement at C$1.07 per unit for total consideration of C$57,159,400. Each unit consists of one Class A common share and one-half of a warrant exercisable at C$1.39 per share for sixty months. The transaction is expected to close on or about September 2, 2026, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, upon which Agnico Eagle will hold approximately 10.45% of Radisson's issued and outstanding common shares. An investor rights agreement will grant Agnico Eagle board nomination rights and pre-emptive purchase rights to maintain ownership up to 14.9%. This strategic investment aligns with Agnico Eagle’s strategy of acquiring positions in high-potential mining opportunities. Agnico Eagle is a major gold producer operating mines across Canada, Australia, Finland, and Mexico.
