Agnico Eagle reported third-quarter net income of $1,352.9 million ($2.67 per share), up from $1,054.9 million in the prior-year period, driven by a 22.7% increase in realized gold prices to $4,264 per ounce. Gold production decreased 6.1% to 814,012 ounces due to lower output at Canadian Malartic following a July rock mass movement and reduced grades at Meadowbank. The company updated its full-year 2026 guidance, maintaining the low end of the 3.3–3.5 million ounce production range but raising cost expectations near the upper end of $1,020–$1,120 per ounce for total cash costs and $1,400–$1,550 for all-in sustaining costs due to input pressures and remediation expenses. Agnico Eagle is a senior Canadian gold mining company with operations in Canada, Australia, Finland, and Mexico.
