Alpha Pro Tech, Ltd. reported second quarter and six-month financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026. Second quarter net sales increased 12% to $18.7 million from $16.7 million in the prior year period, driven by a 5.5% rise in Building Supply segment sales to $11.7 million and a 24.9% increase in Disposable Protective Apparel sales to $7.0 million. Net income rose 47% to $1.8 million, or $0.18 per diluted share, compared to $1.2 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, previously; excluding a one-time IEEPA tariff refund of $219,000, net income was $1.6 million, or $0.16 per diluted share. The company held $18.9 million in cash with no debt as of June 30, 2026. Alpha Pro Tech manufactures disposable protective apparel and building weatherization products such as housewrap and roof underlayment.
