On June 13, 2026, Ascendis Pharma announced Week 182 data from its Phase 3 PaTHway Trial for TransCon PTH (palopegteriparatide) in adults with hypoparathyroidism. The three-and-a-half-year study showed 86% of patients met a multi-component endpoint of normal serum calcium, no active vitamin D, and ≤600 mg/day of calcium. Key results included 100% independence from active vitamin D, 96% independence from therapeutic calcium doses, and stabilized kidney function with a mean eGFR of 80.2 mL/min/1.73 m2. Patients reported improved quality of life via HPES and SF-36 scales, while bone mineral density remained stable. The treatment was well-tolerated with no new safety signals or anti-PTH antibodies.
